ACP visited by Johnson & Wales University

On Tuesday, January 16th, ACP was visited once again by Lisa Rubchinsky, the NYC area Admissions Officer from Johnson & Wales University. Lisa has visited us for the past 3 years and is always a hit with our students. She not only does a wonderful job promoting the four Johnson & Wales campuses (Providence, Miami, Charlotte, and Denver), but she goes out of her way to teach our students about applying, and transitioning, to college in general. She discusses many of JWUs areas of study, providing a clearer picture of what academic life might be like on one of their campuses. She even informs them of the various financial aid sources (Federal/State, College Institutional, and Private/Outside Funded), which are applicable to any college they enroll in.

As usual, several students stayed after her lecture to ask more detailed questions, and to fill out contact postcards so that they can continue to hear from her and JWU.
