Who is Carmen Jones?

For their season finale, the ACP students staged Oscar Hammerstein's legendary musical, "Carmen Jones." It was ACP's first musical production and the first to get the attention of a noted Broadway actor.

Lindsay Roberts, who played the role of Cindy Lou in the acclaimed Classic Stage Company production, attended the students' dress rehearsal, and offered insights and encouragement. The ACP students received a valuable lesson when the actress spoke of the transferable skills of acting and learning about the theater. She was moved and excited about the students’ performance.
