Welcome to the Great Minds Summer Program! This six-week program is designed to provide middle school students from The Great Minds program with a fun and enriching summer experience. Our program combines classroom learning, regular exercise, field trips, and enrichment activities to keep students engaged and learning throughout the summer.

Program Details:

The program runs from July 6th to August 13th, Mondays through Thursdays, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. The application is open to active participants of the Great Minds (grades 4-8) Program. There are 30 spaces available in the program, so priority admission is given to the children who have been the most active in the Great Minds program.

There is no cost to participate.

Enrichment Activities:

Our program offers a variety of enrichment activities to keep students engaged and learning. In the past, we have had fencing program, bike riding lessons, archery, kickball, pickleball, arts and crafts and so much more. Every day is designed to keep students engaged, social, and having a blast while still learning and growing along the way.

Regular Exercise:

Regular exercise is an important part of our program, and we will incorporate it into each day. We will take regular trips to the park, where we will organize activities like kickball and other games. Students will also have opportunities for free play and to socialize with their peers.

Field Trips:

In the past we have visited places like the Museum of Natural History, the NYC Aquarium, restaurants, parks, and we plan to have an equally exciting set of trips for this summer. Field trips are a great way for students to learn and explore the city.

Safety:

We take the safety of our students very seriously. Our program has 4 adult staff members for our 30 students, and children will always be supervised. All of our staff have undergone background checks, been trained internally on best practices for student management and instruction, and hold first aid certifications. Parents will be provided with contact information for each staff member before the start of the program.

To apply in the program, please complete registration form below. All applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified if they are accepted within a week.
