🎓 Alumni Spotlight: Natasha & Julia Inspire the Next Generation of ACP Scholars

On May 13th, two of our Armory College Prep alumni—Natasha Miranda and Julia Macias—returned to The Armory to speak with our current high school students. Now thriving as pre-med students at Northeastern University and Boston University, Natasha and Julia shared their journeys with candor, insight, and inspiration.

Both students began their college careers at CUNY schools, even though it wasn’t their first choice. But they never lost sight of their dreams. Through hard work, excellent grades, and a deep commitment to community service, they successfully transferred to their dream schools—proof that setbacks can be stepping stones.

During their visit, Natasha and Julia reflected on their time in Armory College Prep, shared stories about adjusting to college life, and offered advice on navigating challenges. They reminded our students that resilience and belief in yourself are key—and that your first step doesn’t have to be your final destination.

Our current students were especially inspired by their message to stay focused and never give up, even when things don’t go according to plan. The room was full of excitement, curiosity, and admiration—a powerful reminder of the impact of our alumni network.
