Armory College Prep Students Honored with Udis Award
We were proud to welcome the Udis family to The Armory this week to celebrate this year’s recipients of the Udis Award, presented annually to outstanding students in the Armory College Prep High School Program.
This year’s honorees, Loor Nasser and Chris-Andrew Nkunga, spent the afternoon sharing their academic achievements, future aspirations, and experiences in ACP. The conversation was thoughtful, engaging, and reflective of the hard work and dedication both students bring to their studies and their communities.
A particularly special moment came as we recognized the deep family connections to ACP. Both students come from families with multiple siblings who have participated in Armory programs, from Great Minds through the high school level. Notably, Chris-Andrew’s older sister, Rachel-Grace Nkunga, was also a previous Udis Award recipient—making the Nkunga family the first with two Udis Award winners.
The visit was a warm and meaningful exchange, and we are grateful to the Udis family for their continued support of Armory College Prep and for taking the time to truly get to know our students.
Congratulations to Loor and Chris-Andrew on this well-deserved honor!
